Today's Splitcoaststamper's Challenge was to CASE (basically copy) a card from StamperTammy's gallery. I chose to CASE this card. We had to change at least two things. I kept the Kraft paper, the sketch/design, and the item dangling from organza ribbon. The rest was changed :D I used Inkadinkado stamps that I got from Jacksonbelle. I think this coffee ringk stamp is just so cool and realistic. I stamped the cappuccino coffee image in VersaMagic Jumbo Java, then masked it and added the coffee ring. I used Distress Ink in tea dye for the ring, but hey, looks like coffee to me.
To create foamy cappuccino froth laced with swirls of espresso and cinnamon (mmm...now I want one) I dabbed some Liquid Pearls in the cup, then swirled the newest Stickles color, Cinnamon in the Liquid Pearls with my paper piercer.
Finally, I added an Around The Block charm to the May Arts ribbon and cord. I made this card in about 10 minutes. Very simple, and perfect to save for a friend who may need it one day.
Have a great night! And thank you for visiting my blog.

Just found your blog and I love it!
Love so much about this card! I did a ring, once, but I used a wine glass and chianti! I like the stamp a lot. Lindsey didn't have it in the store -- did you get it long ago?
Your foam is awesome, too! Great job!

What a lovely card. I soooooo love that coffee ring. At first I thought it was a real coffee ring and then read it was a stamp. Very cool.
