I have been such a bad blogger my friends, I am sorry. I hope you are having a blessed Easter. For the first time I am not even making an Easter dinner. So much has been going on here and I confess to being a bit burnt out after working, design team stuff, preparing for the SCS Fashion VSN on April 4&5, my A Muse card class April 19th at Carousel, and puppy sitting. Before my puppy pics I wanted to show you my Bunny Wagon that I made for Embellish-Online.
The cart is made out of Bazzill Bling Blind Date (shimmery purple) and covered with BasicGrey LilyKate paper. The chassis is made out of Bazzill Bling Sugar Daddy (shimmery brown). The wooden wheels were bought at Michaels and painted with Ranger Adirondack Espresso Acrylic paint. I used the Around the Block Tape Writer Kit's pink tape to label and adhere "Bunny Wagon" to the side.
Little Miss Chick is pulling her wagon of candy with purple chenille pipe cleaner. Making Memories Epoxy Shape Egg and May Arts ribbon adorn the front of the wagon.
Final touches include various paper, felt and crystal flowers on the wheels and colorful confetti paper grass to hold lots of Easter candy.
Here is a card I made recently. I tried to think outside the box and I am not sure if I like the results. It was hard to photograph as the Cuttlebug and various circle punches are part of the inside of the card, mounted on pop dots for height.
The paper Hydrangea flowers are Prima, the center white plastic flower seen in the picture above is Maya Road. The patterned paper is BasicGrey Perhaps.
Dew Drops blue acrylic beads were glued on here and there.
The paper piercing in the corner was done with my Ornare template.
Ah my sweet little naked puppy. Freeway is a Hairless Rat Terrier (also called an American Hairless Terrier).
The first few nights on puppy watch we got no sleep. He refused to sleep in his crate - in protest he made these dying cow sounds. Deep plaintive moos. He got his way and sleeps in the bed with us. I thought that was better than getting evicted.
He runs like a terror through the house then just when you want to kill him, he turns and makes this cute pose as he wags his tail.
We don't spoil him too much at all :) His clothes are too big because he is wearing Rosie's hand me downs.
Our older girl (she is 11) Rosie looks just like Freeway when she was a puppy. She acts like a cranky grandma at times, not wanting anything to do with him. At other times she will take his favorite toy, a stuffed rabbit, and taunt him with it, daring him to come and take it from her. She drops it at her feet then waits for him to try to take it. This photo was taken 5 seconds after Freeway took her rawhide chew right out of her mouth and 5 seconds before she kicked some major puppy butt. She just got wide eyed and thought about it for a few. He did WHAT? Then...WHAM! It's on!
Here he is wanting attention. His huge puppy ears are finally starting to stand up on their own, except when he is sleepy, then they flip flop.
Thank you for indulging me in my long vacation. I hope to be back tomorrow with some cards that I have been working on. Happy Easter everyone!

Aww....everyone deserved time off from blogging! Life gets in the way darling. I know that more than anyone. My poor blog went unattended for a whole month while I recovered and played catch up from surgery! Some things just can't be helped.
your bunny wagon is adorable...but NOWHERE NEAR AS ADORABLE AS THAT PUP!! LOL
OMG...and the stories to go with...too funny. Thanks for sharing so many of her...just made my night!
happy Easter my friend!

Tammy

What great doggie stories and accompnying photos. I have 4 dogs myself and I hear you about adjustments. They all have the run of the house (I have a Schnauzer mix, Beagle, Chow mix and a Jack Russell Terrier)and share my bed - errr I share their bed - and enjoy my fenced in back yard. My best friend has a Chinese Crested and has thought of getting the same breed as yours. Thanks for sharing all the chaos!

Too cute! Love the tales about Freeway & Rosie. We are big time dog people (currently we have an almost 15 yo s&p schnauzer, an ~ 15 to 16 yo MinPin that showed up at our mountain house 6.5 years ago and a 10 yo black min. schnauzer that we rescued when she was a pup. I love all the shenanagins that pups pull, but "Rosie kicking some major puppy butt" got me to take the laptop to my husband and show him the pics/story. TOO FUNNY!
I like your card, it has given me an idea of what I need to do to finish up a card that needed something else. Paper piercing would be a great addition. Thanks!
