Hi everyone!I made this card for Carousel Rubber Stamps (my LSS) using the just arrived Hero Arts Sprinkle Cupcake rubber stamp. I stamped the image three times onto white cardstock. One image was reserved for use as a mask to create the purple and pink "shadow", which is really just an oval punched out and shaded with the main paper. The sentiment is also by Hero Arts and comes in a pack of three cute sentiments (You Sparkle, You're a Gem and Hope Your Day Shines!). I embossed the sentiment in Purple Foil Embossing Powder by Judikins. Is this stuff new? It is new to me and I love the look - rich color with a metallic look - purple metal! Woot!
I colored the main image with chalks and then cut and colored the frosting part with Pink Chiffon Twinkling H20s for a textured and shimmery look that the camera didn't pick up unfortunately. Next I added some holographic ultra fine glitter and a few cut up pieces of pink and purple textured cardstock. Both were adhered with Glitter Glue that dries clear.
A cardstock flower punch out covered in Swarovski crystals, holographic white cord and sheer ribbons finish the look.
I will say goodbye with a picture of the Halifax skyline I took on the ferry last week as I headed to work.
You can see the wake of the ferry in the water. It was such a pretty day! See you tomorrow!
