Isn't this image sweet? If you are a dog owner, you've been there. The little guy has been naughty, but one wag of a tail and your heart melts. All is forgiven. This is an Elzybells UK image. I think it would make a really cute I'm sorry, or oops! card to send to someone. But who needs a reason to send a card? Most of my cards are left blank inside anyway except for my hellos, news and whatnot.
I colored the image with Copic Markers, making sure to add lots of shadow to the newspaper bits. As I typically do, I stamped the image twice and cut out all the paper bits from one image to put on the main image with tiny cut up foam dots. Dimension is quickly taking over my bling obsession!
Memento Desert Sand was sponged onto the paper first to get it looking a bit dirty. Next I added Crystal Effects to the newspaper and doggy's wet nose.
Also Used: Nestabilities in Classic Large Circles; wide green Stitched Satin ribbon from Jody Morrow's May Arts ribbon share; buttons are BasicGrey from the Boxer collection; Fancy Pants felt heart; plaid paper is from Scarlet Lime. Edit: I have been e-mailed asking who makes the twill dog paw ribbon. I'm sorry I don't know - it was $1 on a tiny spool I bought from my LSS long ago.

I was planning on cutting out and popping up the bits of newspaper too, but I hadn't thought of making them glossy! It looks fab.
