I'm back! I just had to show you this super cool holographic patterned paper I bought at my LSS. It is called Enchanted Autumn by Reminisce. It is so fun and adds whimsy to Magnolia Stamps Homespun Tilda.
The main picture uses flash to show off the holographic pattern of the paper. In this photo taken without flash you can see all the shimmer that is on Miss Tilda herself.
I colored her with Copic markers and popped up her lantern, head and hat to give a 3D appearance, Shimmer was added with Copic Spica pens to her hair, lantern and the flourish coming out of the lantern. I added Stickles to her hair as well (the chunkier glitter) and dipped her hat pom poms in Stampin' Up! Dazzling Diamonds ultrafine glitter.
The brown paper with the woodgrain finish is called Tree Bark. and is one of my new favorites (for now lol). You will be seeing that one quite a bit I have gone a little crazy with it. I cut out leaves from the Fall Leaves paper to add as embellishments.
The sentiment and small flourish are from Papertrey.
I don't know what is up lately but I am so blessed ~ Diana Crick (inventor of the Scor-Pal) has asked me to design for her new Magnolia stamp store Magnolia-licious. These Swedish stamps can now be bought from her store in North America at Magnoliastamps.us along with some very nice background scene stamps that go very well with tildas, or even on their own. Diana has also started a Yahoo group for Magnolia fans to share their pictures, ideas and techniques. My DT package is on the way so I will soon have new Tildas to share with you.
I just spoke to Allan and he is not feeling well either - we both feel so achy and our joins hurt. I hope we are not coming down with something :( I am off to rest a bit and hope I feel better tomorrow.

Congrats on your exciting (and well deserved) news! This card is so... cute and that paper is too cool (I happen to have some myself just haven't had the chance to use it or the matching rub ons- hangs head in shopping shame)!
