Today's card uses paper and stamps from the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini. This was my favorite mini EVER. I love the vintage images combined with modern colors and flourishes. It is a unique twist for your Christmas cards. I am not sure if I like the unique twist I tried to add to this card - I curled the bottom of the Ski Slope Patterned Paper with a pencil. I just felt the extra wide grosgrain ribbon needed a counter balance.
I colored the main image with Copic markers (you can get almost the same look using Stampin' Up! ink and an Aqua Pen I just don't have all the colors yet). I did add Silver Copic Spica to the ski poles and Gold to the sled's flourishes (you can see it if you double click the photo).
The berries and sled chain uses red Liquid Pearls. There is so much texture going on with the image. To add to the card's textures, I distressed the edges of the papers and sponged them with Creamy Caramel ink.
In this photo you can see the Crystal Effects on the stones, and the Liquid Applique on the tree.
I added Opaque White Pen here and there to highlight.
Finally, I cut the edges off of the large oval for the sentiment, which is inked in Riding Hood Red.
Like I said, I am not sure about this card. But I do love this image so much though, and it was a lot of fun to color.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Suzy

Responding to a comment on the sidebar: Bulk Barn usually has Clodhoppers. I've also seen them at Loblaws.
