Sweet Little Pumpkin with Hallowhimsy & Copics
Here it is Monday and time for another House Mouse & Friends Challenge! This week's challenge is to make a Halloween card. If you do not have a Halloween House Mouse, Gruffies or Happy Hoppers stamp that's okay! Just use a Halloween theme when it comes to papers and embellishments.
I colored this Little Pumpkin image with Copic markers you see above. I usually go for blitz and bling, but wanted to keep his sweet little face the focus and to have a softer, almost watercolor like appearance.
I used the Copic Y13 Lemon Yellow and the 0 Colorless Blender to outline him. Yellow makes the orange really pop, and adds to an Autumn feel.
I like how it seems he is looking at the spooky bat! I used Imaginisce Hallowhimsy chipboard stickers and patterned paper except for the green bark like mulberry paper (not sure who makes that).
Be sure to stop by the House Mouse & Friends Challenge Blog to see what the other Design Team members have made for you this week. Come on, play along too!
One lucky person will get a prize: DT Member Mary is giving away 10 stamped images, 10 large & medium sized blooms & 10 metres of ribbon - the stamp line and the colors are based upon your preference!
Thanks for stopping by!
Suzy

Suzy, this is so cute. This mouse is Muzzie (I've learned all the mice, and I know this one because he has a notch in his ear.) He really glows in his pumpkin costume. Very cute card. Your coloring is great - thanks for sharing the colors you used - and the ribbon is great with the whole theme, too.
