Puttin' on the Glitz
Sweet bean of life our new Cusinart coffee maker arrived today! We used Airmiles to get the 14 Cup Brewmaster free (kind of free - don't ask how much you have to spend to accumulate Airmiles ha). I can't wait to have a cup of coffee - our old Kenmore coffee maker from Sears died after about 3 years of hard labor. We have been having tea for breakfast,but it just isn't morning without coffee for me! I lost my mojo with no joe! Onto today's card, my friends: Why am I posting my Monday House Mouse & Friends Challenge card on Tuesday? Well since you asked :o) it is because it was so dark yesterday I could not take a picture for the life of me! This week's challenge is Glitter and Glitz. How is this for spahhhkle? I used the Making Memories glittery Poinsettia paper from the Falala collection and edged everything with a gold leafing pen.
The image from the House Mouse Tumble Wreathis colored with Copics and then the branches were dusted with Dazzling Diamonds ultra fine holographic glitter by Stampin' Up!. The holly berries are large red crystals. I cut out the ribbon so it would pop up and fall out of the circle die cut. Using my finger I applied Stickles glitter glue to mimic the Poinsettia paper. Glittery Poinsettia Primas and May Arts Satin ribbon add some festive shine as well.
