Sweet 'n Sassy is the sponsor this week over at Card Positioning Systems (CPS). CPS provides a new sketch each week, lots of inspiration, and usually a prize. This week is no different! Here is my version of the sketch using Purr-Fect Day, one of seven Sweet 'n Sassy stamps sets released last Friday. Who says opposites can't attract? These little mice are fur-ever friends with this little kitty.
I colored the cat with Copic markers -YR24 Pale Sepia all over, YR16 Apricot for stripes and R20 Blush for the nose and ears. The mice were colored with shades of warm grays and stamped 6 times, then put on pop dots with thread for tails. I used Memento Rich Cocoa and Tangelo inks on the sentiment.
After cutting shapes with Nestabilities I used circle punches on the Bazzill Basics Cheddar paper (how perfect is the name?) to create little holes in the cheese for the mice to crawl and nibble through. The patterned paper is embossed with glitter and so cute - I hated to cover it up lol. It is called Glitter Cat Stripes from the Pets collection by DCVW. I believe the green and red are also Bazzill but I am unsure of the names.
We would love for you to participate in the sketch challenge. While it would be awesome if you used Sweet 'n Sassy stamps, any stamp brand is just fine. Create a card with the sketch you see above and link your card to the CPS post by Friday 8pm CST to be entered to win a Sweet 'n Sassy Stamp set. I think that makes the third Sweet 'n Sassy giveaway this week!
As always, thank you for stopping by. I treasure each comment and thank you so much for all the well wishes about being published. You are my faraway friends, hopefully I will meet some of you at CHA :)

This card is way cute! I love that you gave the kitty stripes and the mice thread for tails! I don't have any copic markers yet but I do use Bic Mark Its and get similar results! I love the papers you chose, this is such a fun card!
