Welcome to the Sweet 'n Sassy Blog Hop! Each month the Design Team makes a card for your inspiration and we all hop from blog to blog to see what was made. My card was very easy to make, but still has a touch of elegance. Please forgive the photo, there was no light at 7 am when this was taken.
Who says chocolate is only for Valentine's Day? I think this is a lovely birthday card for a chocolate lover; this baby is going to Marg, Allan's mom. I stamped the chocolate box image from the Sweet 'n Sassy Love Blooms stamp set twice onto cream cardstock, then colored the images with Copic markers in shades of creams, tans, and browns. The lid is propped up on dimensional pop dots. I embossed the sentiment (also from the Love Blooms set) with gold embossing powder.
What is missing from the pictures are all the subtle shimmer - I added Spica Glitter Pens in Clear all over the chocolates and flowers, and the LOVE on top of the box is colored completely with Gold.
The patterned paper peeking out is BasicGrey's Two Scoops paper that has been punched with the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch.
Thank you so much for stopping by. If you would like to hop on the blog train, your next stop will be Korin, who happens to be the owner and designer of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!.
Yours truly in California (woo hoo),

Blinkie Code
